Cubs cut ties with Daniel Bard

The Chicago Cubs non-tendered pitcher Daniel Bard before Monday night's deadline for arbitration-eligible players. Bard, who was claimed from the Boston Red Sox in September, has battled inconsistency and injuries. (ESPN.com)
