Hairston and Leslie McDonald, who continue to be sidelined due to an NCAA investigation, there is one area where their absence is impossible to miss. With an average of 2.9 3-pointers per game, North Carolina ranks 345th out of the 345 Division I teams listed on the NCAA’s stats website when it comes to shots made from beyond the arc.
