Struggling Tar Heels are stuck in a Twilight ‘zone’

For the first 2 ½ minutes of Tuesday’s game against Miami, the North Carolina basketball team was in the zone. The Tar Heels ran their break, got the ball inside and looked to be in for an easy night after scoring on all four of their possessions to take a quick 8-0 lead. Then the Hurricanes slowed the tempo down by going into a zone of their own. And UNC never recovered.
