The odds caught up with North Carolina's baseball team in a big way Sunday at the College World Series. The third-seeded Tar Heels, whose come-from-behind style had lifted them into a winners' bracket game against No. 2 Rice, were thumped 14-4 by the Owls at windy Rosenblatt Stadium.
