UNC signee Joel Berry, Duke signee Grayson Allen face off on Saturday

Two leading candidates for the 2014 Florida Mr. Basketball honor who will soon be college rivals square off when defending Class 4A state champion Lake Highland Prep meets No. 1 3A Jacksonville Providence on Saturday. Highlanders senior Joel Berry II, a 6-foot-1 North Carolina signee, was the first sophomore to win the award and repeated last year to position himself to be the first to be Mr. Basketball three times. Grayson Allen, a 6-3 Providence senior signed by Duke, was third in last year’s voting. (Orlando Sentinel)
