B.J. Surhoff keeps up with his Tar Heels
B.J. Surhoff, who retired in 2005 after 19 major league seasons with Milwaukee, Baltimore and Atlanta, is perhaps North Carolina's best-known baseball alumnus. Surhoff, the first overall pick in the 1985 draft, is in Omaha, Neb., watching the Tar Heels compete in the College World Series. (Raleigh News & Observer)
