UNC suffers humbling 76-61 loss against Virginia

A lack of effort wasn’t the problem for the Tar Heels on Monday night during their 76-61 loss at Virginia. UNC simply lost to a better team that did a better job than the Tar Heels in all phases. UNC, meanwhile, floundered after a promising start and never seemed to recover from an ugly end to the first half. With the loss, UNC is 1-4 in the ACC for the first time since the 2001-02 season.
