UNC wins Omaha opener

Having watched comeback after comeback over the past two weeks, North Carolina pitcher Adam Warren remained confident when he took the mound during Friday's second inning -- four runs down, two Bulldogs on base. "I just had to give my team a chance,'' the sophomore said of his College World Series mind-set. Instead, he gave them another win. (Raleigh News & Observer)
