Alex White wants to make up for shaky postseason starts
Posted Jun 13, 2007
Of the handful of UNC pitchers awaiting their next possible start, none is more eager than Alex White. White is headed to Omaha, Neb., today with his Tar Heel baseball teammates as UNC embarks on its quest to win the College World Series. "I can't wait for that first start in Omaha," White said in a telephone interview Tuesday. "My last two starts were not what I had hoped for, but the good thing is my team has been able to pick me up."
