Tar Heels stopper knows one fire too hot to handle
In baseball vernacular, Andrew Carignan is North Carolina’s fireman. That seems like an awkward title for the relief pitcher whose family home was destroyed by fire less than a month ago. Carignan and his family lost precious belongings, including wiping out many baseball mementos he had collected. Carignan heads to the College World Series trying to rebuild a collection as his family tries to reconstruct its home. (Burlington Times News)
