Winner of 21 of its last 25 games, No. 3 national seed North Carolina opens its second straight College World Series appearance - and the sixth in program history - against Southeastern Conference foe Mississippi State Friday at 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN2 from Omaha's Rosenblatt Stadium.
