Though there’s no guarantee Wednesday’s meeting between the Blue Devils and Tar Heels at the Smith Center will go down to the wire or become yet another storied chapter in an already thick volume of epic battles, it’s a virtual certainty that the passion and intensity displayed on the court and in the stands will be as high as it gets all season.
