On A Quest: Tar Heels want the NCAA baseball title that eluded them last year

UNC is halfway home on its mission for the 2007 college baseball season. The final stage will begin on Friday in Omaha, Neb., when UNC will begin play in the College World Series against Mississippi State and will try to erase the bitter, lingering memory of losing last season’s national championship. “We know what it feels like to be there (in Omaha),” Andrew Carignan said. “I don’t know if anybody has any idea how bad we want to go back.” (Winston-Salem Journal)
