Vince Carter's hoop legacy in Canada


The 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest ended shortly before midnight, Feb. 12, on the East Coast, and so, too, then did a new life begin for Vince Carter. Carter's new reality took hold even before he could suit up in the next day's All-Star Game.
