North Carolina's "wine and cheese" crowd, made legendary by former Florida State basketball trash talker Sam Cassell, showed up Saturday for baseball. During the fourth inning, the small, vocal South Carolina contingent filled Boshamer Stadium with shouts of "Game-cocks. Game-cocks." The sluggish North Carolina fans didn't even try to answer or drown them out. (Charlotte Observer)
