Embrace this rivalry to Heel and back
What once was one of the great rivalries in college athletics will be renewed this weekend when South Carolina meets North Carolina in the NCAA baseball tournament Super Regionals. Here is a suggestion: The schools should meet annually in every common intercollegiate sport. Certainly UNC doesn't need another rivalry, with Duke, N.C. State and Wake Forest nearby. But South Carolina has long sought a rival other than Clemson. (The State)
