Carolina keeps finding a way to win
Thursday, June 07, 2007
The North Carolina baseball team has an uncanny sense for finding whatever means it needs to win. Heading into the NCAA Tournament this past weekend, the Tar Heels' pitching had shined down the stretch. The team entered the Chapel Hill regional second in the ACC with an earned run average of 3.17, a number better than a year ago when Carolina had two pitchers taken in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft.
