Reilly Hovis struck out a career-high six batters and No. 13 North Carolina scored a season-best 13 runs in a 13-3 win over George Mason Tuesday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Wood Myers had a three-run double in the second and Tyler Ramirez had a two-run triple in the fifth for the Tar Heels, who will host Gardner-Webb Wednesday at 1:00.
