David Neal Coaches Apex to 4A State Championship

The Apex Cougars are the 4-A boys' basketball state champions. After trailing by seven points at halftime, the Cougars rallied to tie the game 42-42 entering the fourth quarter. From there, the Cougars played with poise down the stretch and made free throws in the final minute to pull away from the Lake Norman Wildcats and win, 62-59 on the state's biggest stage.
