Carolina Women Selected 4th Seed in Stanford Region

The UNC women's basketball team earned an at-large spot in the 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship on Monday evening. Carolina, with an overall record of 24-9, is the No. 4-seed in the Stanford Region and will play No. 13-seed UT Martin (24-7) on Sunday in Chapel Hill at Carmichael Arena in a first round game.
