Posted Mar 18, 2014
Boston College has parted ways with Steve Donahue, multiple sources told ESPN on Tuesday. Donahue, 51, was hired in 2010 by former athletic director Gene Defilippo after taking Cornell to the Sweet 16. Donahue spent a decade at Cornell and took the school to the NCAA tourney in each of his final three seasons. However, Donahue has been unable to get BC to the NCAA tournament after taking over for Al Skinner.
