Extreme field makeover


Time is running out on the Boshamer Stadium that UNC fans have known for 35 years. But North Carolina's baseball players and coaches aren't ready to say goodbye. The Tar Heels, hosting a regional in the NCAA Tournament this weekend, could earn some more home games if they advance to the super-regional round. Regardless of whether that happens, a reconstruction costing about $17 million will begin at Boshamer in a couple of weeks. (Durham Herald-Sun)
