Unlikely heroes turn into March Madness villains on parts of Tobacco Road

Before the 1984 summer Olympics, the U.S. men's basketball team, led by then-Indiana coach Bob Knight, held its practices on the Hoosiers' campus. Dan Dakich, a rising senior at Indiana, didn't miss a chance to watch the sessions. During one, Hoosiers' assistant and current Saint Louis coach Jim Crews came up to Dakich to chat.
