No. 12 Carolina Takes Series Opener In Extra Innings Versus Georgia Tech

Wood Myers singled home Brandon Whiteford in the bottom of the 11th to give No. 12 North Carolina a series-opening 3-2 win over Georgia Tech Friday night at Boshamer Stadium.
