Remembering Bones McKinney

A native of Durham who played for one of the best high school basketball teams in history and lived in shadow of Duke University, McKinney played basketball for both N.C. State and North Carolina, coached at Wake Forest, was integral in the integration of the NBA and became the first professional basketball coach in North Carolina before spending the last years of his life living in Hickory.
