UNC to take on weakened Iowa State

North Carolina can sympathize with Iowa State. Two years ago, the Tar Heels were in nearly an identical position — a handy defeat of their opponent coupled with a shocking and disheartening loss. Iowa State drubbed N.C. Central 93-75, but in the minutes following its statement win, the news of the loss of forward Georges Niang spread .
