Six North Carolina teams earn bids to NCAA baseball tournament

Six teams from North Carolina were selected Monday for the NCAA baseball tournament. The ACC led all conferences with seven picks. ACC champion North Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Charlotte, East Carolina and Western Carolina are the state teams in the field. Three -- UNC, East Carolina and Western Carolina -- will play in the Chapel Hill regional, which starts Friday. (Greensboro News & Record)
