UConn won the NCAA basketball tournament Monday, but the Final Four weekend failed to eclipse an earlier-round loss by the North Carolina Tar Heels in terms of TV interest in Charlotte. Nielsen Media Research estimates 248,710 people watched UConn beat Kentucky on local CBS affiliate WBTV. The Charlotte TV audience consists of 2.8 million people, according to Nielsen.
