Baseball matchup loses zing, but Tar Heels, Wolfpack need victory

The North Carolina / North Carolina State baseball matchup has lost much of its luster from when it was scheduled. But tonight’s game isn’t diminished in terms of importance. No longer viewed as an intriguing matchup among the country’s best teams, now each side is in desperate need of racking up victories in order to bolster credentials for postseason consideration.
