Sunday's "Outside The Lines" spotlighted the role Boston's athletes and teams played in helping the region heal in the aftermath of the bombings at the 2013 Boston Marathon. “We needed to be together. We needed a gigantic church. We needed a gathering, and a gathering that brings people together, and sports are the biggest venues to do that,” former Celtics coach Doc Rivers said.
