Woollen floor sales to help build a home
Thursday, May 24, 2007
If North Carolina fans want more Tar Heels memorabilia, another slice of its treasured basketball history, they can get it. Thanks to a gift from JBNR Partners, Habitat-Wake ReStore is selling 20,000 more square feet of flooring from old Woollen Gym, the 1937 to 1965 basketball home. The 4-by-7-feet cuts of maple are priced at $50 each, with all proceeds going to help build a Habitat house in Wake County. (Raleigh News & Observer)
