UNC Men's Golf Team Moves Up To Eighth At NCAA East Regional

After a disappointing first round, the University of North Carolina men's golf team came to life and fired a two-under-par 286 in the second round of the NCAA East Regional. The Tar Heels jumped from 19th place all the way up to eighth place with a 591 total going into the final round of the 54-hole event played at The Golf Club of Georgia, Lakeside Course, which features a par 72, 7,017-yard layout.
