ACC won't expand basketball schedule


To some, ACC men's basketball coaches might look like stodgy traditionalists. To others, they're merely pragmatic. No matter the description, they're all winners today. The ACC sided with the coaches Wednesday and decided to reject the proposed expansion from 16 to 18 conference basketball games each season. The decision showed that television isn't always king.
