Former Heel Miller to make first big-league start

Why Andrew Miller? Because he has talent, and the manager likes talent. Simple as that. Three days short of his 22nd birthday, Miller will make his first major league start Friday against the Cardinals at Comerica Park. The left-hander, who was the Tigers' first-round draft choice last year, will pitch in place of Jeremy Bonderman, who lost the battle of the blister. (Detroit News)
