Posted Jun 3, 2014
East Carolina has decided not to renew head baseball coach Billy Godwin’s contract after nine years with the program. The Pirates finished 33-26 this season and failed to make the NCAA tournament for the third consecutive season. ECU has not finished higher than third in their conference since 2009. Among the rumored candidates for the position are UNC pitching coach Scott Forbes.
