Diamond DeShields transferring to Tennessee, per Mother

The mother of former UNC star Diamond DeShields says her daughter is transferring to Tennessee. Tisha DeShields confirmed via text message Thursday that Diamond has committed to the Lady Vols. DeShields, the 2013-14 ACC freshman of the year, averaged 18 points per game this past season. Under NCAA rules, DeShields would have to sit out a year before being eligible to play for Tennessee.
