June’s best photos: Start of summer at Carolina


Summer has officially started, but there’s nothing quiet about Carolina’s campus right now. Members of the Class of 2018 and transfer students have been passing through the Union, the Pit and other parts of campus for orientation. Hundreds of rising high school seniors came to UNC, too, for Project Uplift, which marks its 45th anniversary this year. (UNC.edu)
