Keelon Lawson, father of elite recruits, hired as Memphis Tigers basketball assistant

Keelon Lawson, the father of prized basketball recruits K.J. and Dedric Lawson, has been hired as an assistant coach at the University of Memphis, the school announced Wednesday. Lawson, a former state title-winning coach at Hamilton High, had been considered the favorite for the position for months.
