UNC professor dies after Chapel Hill mugging


A professor at UNC died Thursday morning from injuries suffered during a robbery and assault on West University Drive in Chapel Hill, police said. Feng Liu, 59, of Durham, was assaulted at about 1 p.m. Wednesday in a residential area near the intersection of West University Drive and Ransom Street, police said. He was a research professor in UNC's School of Pharmacy. (WRAL.com)
