All-State RHP Luca Dalatri commits to North Carolina
Posted Aug 5, 2014
For Christian Brothers right-hander Luca Dalatri, the University of North Carolina is the college he would want to be at even if he were not playing baseball. But fortunately for the Tar Heels, Dalatri, the 2014 Monmouth County Player of the Year and a First Team All-State selection, will be on the mound for them as the rising junior verbally committed to the ACC power on Monday. Dalatri went 11-0 with a 0.39 ERA this past spring for CBA. Dalatri struck out 90 and walked 16 in in 70 1/3 innings with a 0.67 WHIP.
