Tar Heel Takeaways Turn Tide

Forcing turnovers has been a point of focus for UNC during the offseason, and during the second half Saturday all the efforts came to fruition. The Tar Heels forced six turnovers which helped to switch the momentum and put UNC in scoring situations. Linebacker Jeff Schoettmer's pick six in the third quarter ignited the Tar Heel defense and ramped up the excitement that fueled UNC for the remainder of the game.
