Tar Heels look to clean up tackling issues before ECU game

Tackling has been a major focus during UNC’s bye week, especially with East Carolina up next. The Pirates’ spread offense should force the Tar Heels to make tackles in space when the teams meet at sold-out Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on Sept. 20. While UNC usually has its only full-contact practices on Tuesdays, the bye week allowed UNC to go full contact both Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
