No. 3 UNC Men's Soccer Drops 2-0 Match at No. 1 Notre Dame

Third-ranked North Carolina dropped a 2-0 men's soccer match to No. 1 Notre Dame Friday night from Alumni Stadium. UNC held a 12-7 shot advantage in the match, and a 9-2 lead in corner kicks. In the 80th minute, UNC was awarded a penalty kick, but the shot sailed high and the Tar Heels remained down 2-0. UNC finishes up its long road stretch at UNC Wilmington on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
