Destinee Walker Gives UNC Women Third Top 100 Recruit

Destinee Walker, the No. 17 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 for the 2015 class, has given a verbal commitment to play women's basketball at North Carolina. The 5-foot-10 shooting guard from Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, Fla.) becomes the Tar Heels' third Top 100 recruit from the 2015 class. "My decision was difficult," Walker said. "All of my final choices were great universities with great coaches. But when I visited UNC, I just had a feeling unlike any other that made me realize that Chapel Hill was the place for me."
