Football in April goes into high gear


All apologies to Allen Iverson, but as the Tar Heels and the Wolfpack prepare for their spring games today, the first-year coaching staffs in Chapel Hill and Raleigh are still talking about practice -- specifically, how fast they want to practice. The idea is that practicing at a fast tempo is the best way to simulate the Mach speed at which the game moves on Saturdays, when the adrenaline surge and the roaring crowd make everything faster.
