The Tar Heels and Hokies are a more accurate representation of an irresistible object and immovable force. UNC’s defense ranks dead last in the ACC and its average of 44.0 points per game allowed is worse than all but two other teams in the entire FBS. On the flip side, Tech ranks 10th or lower in the 14-team ACC in virtually every offensive category.
