Robert Woodard ties all-time UNC record for wins

Robert Woodard speared the soft liner for the final out of the game, putting an exclamation mark after his name in the UNC baseball record book. Woodard pitched a complete game Friday night, picking up the 30th victory of his career to move into a tie for first place on UNC's all-time wins list. He scattered nine hits and fielded his position flawlessly as the Tar Heels blanked Duke 7-0 in front of a season-high crowd of 2,835 at Boshamer Stadium. (Durham Herald-Sun)
