UNC Offers Al-Farouq Aminu

The Tar Heel coaching staff has taken the next step in its recruitment of Al-Farouq Aminu, offering the 6-8, 200-pound junior forward a scholarship on Tuesday. Norcross (Ga.) High School sources confirmed the news to Inside Carolina on Wednesday morning. Dave Telep, lead recruiting analyst for ScoutHoops.com, says Aminu's skills away from the basket are what make him such a special prospect. (Inside Carolina)
