Sexual harassment lawsuit against UNC back in court
Melissa Jennings will finally get her day in court. It has been nine years since the former goalkeeper for the UNC women's soccer team sued Anson Dorrance and claimed he sexually harassed her and other players. A federal judge in Greensboro dismissed her claims in 2004. But on Monday the full appellate court in Richmond, Va., issued an 8-2 ruling that sends Jennings' $12 million lawsuit against the coach and the university back to Greensboro for trial.
