Texas A&M to honor 1939 championship with epic throwback uniforms
Posted Oct 30, 2014
In honor of Texas A&M's last national championship in 1939, the Aggies will don throwback uniforms as they take the field Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe.
It won't be an exact replica of that the Aggies wore 75 years ago as it was commonplace in football to wear simple, leather helmets instead of the protective ones seen today, but Texas A&M's uniform provider, Adidas, stepped up to the challenge.
